Position Summary
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst plays a key role in supporting, optimizing, and enhancing financial systems across the organization. This individual bridges Finance and IT, ensuring Microsoft D365 ERP and related platforms align with business needs and deliver accurate, efficient, and secure financial data.
This is a highly collaborative role with significant visibility across the enterprise. The position contributes to scaling integrations, implementing system improvements, supporting acquisitions, and shaping the financial technology landscape to support long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Participate in optimization of financial systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and related accounting platforms
· Maintain and troubleshoot the existing ERP environment while serving as a key resource for end-user support
· Partner with finance and accounting teams to identify inefficiencies and implement system-driven solutions
· Support acquisitions, new module rollouts, system upgrades, and integrations with other business applications
· Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security of financial data across systems
· Provide training, create user guides, and support end-users in leveraging system functionality
· Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making
· Collaborate closely with IT, finance, and operations to align system capabilities with business objectives
· Conduct research projects and support leadership with special initiatives as assigned
· Operate in an ethical, compliant, and professional manner aligned with organizational policies and code of conduct
Required Qualifications
· Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and modules
· 4–7 years of experience in financial systems or finance business processes
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
· Experience supporting ERP systems in a finance environment
· Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with financial reporting tools such as PowerBI, Vena, Anaplan, or OneStream
· Experience supporting ERP implementations or system migrations
· Knowledge of financial compliance and internal controls
· Experience in multi-entity or acquisition-driven environments
